I want an iPhone
If you need a phone, get a Nokia.
If you need a laptop, get a Dell.
If you need road-warrior-level email, get a BlackBerry.
If you need a portable entertainment device get a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS.
If you need directions, get a Garmin.
If you need an MP3 player, get … well, get an iPod Touch.
If you need all of these, get an iPhone. It does none of above perfectly. It does all of the above sufficiently well to deserve its hype and status. I paid full price last August, and was thrilled. When the 2.0 software came out, I went from “thrilled” to “smitten.” I honestly don’t think I could go back to anything else.

I’m so tempted to go grab a 3G iPhone! Will just have to be more patient though and wait for the next update to possibly fix the bugs. This is the problem of having spare money from my internship… impulse buying temptation!
Tonight I begin "Project Library"

Project Library
What: This is a project to document all the books as well as the DVD collection we have amassed at home
Why: To know the extent of how much my family has spent on such. I’m really excited for the results. On a serious note I’d like to catalog everything and track who borrows which. Oh, bragging rights too :D
When: I’m starting tonight by downloading the tool I’ll be using
Where: Actually all our books are scattered throughout the house. By doing this project, I’ll eventually sort out everything and have our own mini library :)
How: I discovered a nice tool called Delicious Library 2. It is developed for the Mac and allows the webcam to be used as a barcode scanner. The data is then passed to Amazon and the details are retrieved. Pretty nifty if you ask me ;)
